My name is Christy Ellingsworth. I’m a writer and author living in charming Portland, Maine.
I’ve spent much of my career creating low-sodium recipes and writing cookbooks on the DASH and MIND diets for Simon & Schuster. As someone living with Ménière’s disease, I know firsthand that good nutrition and daily movement are crucial to health.
For many years, I’ve shared stories from my life: raising my now-grown daughters, DIY-ing our colonial home, finding humor in the everyday, and staying buoyant through challenges.
More recently, I’ve begun writing fiction. Love is what has gotten me through a host of bumps and axle-bending bruises. My contemporary romance, Patchouli, is an homage to resilience, fate, my chosen home of Maine, and, above all else, love.
I hope that my work, in all its forms, brings you joy. Thank you for being here.
